XL97: Page Fault Creating RealAudio ActiveX Control Object (170759)

In Microsoft Excel 97, if you run a Visual Basic for Applications macro
that uses the CreateObject method to create a RealAudio ActiveX control
object, you may receive the following error message:
This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down.
If the problem persists, contact the program vendor.
If you click Details, you receive an error message similar to the
following:
EXCEL caused an invalid page fault in module RAGUI32.DLL at
0137:018c4c40.
CAUSE
This problem occur if the following conditions are true:

Do not use the CreateObject method to create a RealAudio ActiveX control in
Microsoft Excel 97.
MORE INFORMATION
RealAudio ActiveX controls do not currently support the use of the
CreateObject method. Also, because RealAudio ActiveX controls do not
support the IDataObject OLE interface, you cannot insert them into
worksheets in Microsoft Excel 97. You can use them only in UserForms in
Microsoft Excel 97.
