SUMMARY
This article describes how to surgically remove the Linkage Message
Exchange (LME) connectors, Linkage Directory Exchange (LDE) manager, and
Linkage Directory Exchange agents. To do this, perform the following steps:
WARNING: If you use Registry Editor incorrectly, you may cause serious problems that may
require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that you can solve
problems that result from using Registry Editor incorrectly. Use Registry Editor at your own
risk. - Run Uninstall from LinkAge Setup.
- Manually delete the LinkAge directory (using Explorer, or from a Command
Prompt).
- In the Registry Editor, remove the LinkAge entries from the following:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Linkage
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\*-LME-*
- Reboot the computer.
