WD97: Invalid Page Fault with WordBasic.EditLinks and \Sel (167150)

When you attempt to unlink a file that has been inserted into a document
by selecting the linked file and then using the following Visual Basic for
Applications WordBasic object command:
WordBasic.EditLinks KillLink := 1, Link := "\Sel"
You will receive the following error:
Word Error 1005: This bookmark does not exist.
Choosing OK results in the following error:
This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down.
If the problem persists, contact the program vendor.
If you click Details, you will receive the following error message:
WINWORD caused an invalid page fault in module WINWORD.EXE at
0137:30360af5.

Use the WordBasic UnlinkFields command to successfully unlink the
selected field,
-or-
using Visual Basic for Applications commands, the following example
unlinks the first field in the active document:
ActiveDocument.Fields(1).Unlink
