The Internet Explorer window size is set upon opening to the same size as when it was last closed. If you minimize Internet Explorer (click Minimize on the System menu [globe icon on the left of the Internet Explorer title bar]), right-click the Internet Explorer button on the taskbar, and then click Close on the menu that appears, Internet Explorer may open in a smaller window.

RESOLUTION

You can change the Internet Explorer window back to the preferred size by using either of the following methods:

Maximize the Internet Explorer Window

To maximize the Internet Explorer window, click Maximize on the System menu (globe on the left of the Internet Explorer title bar).

Resize the Internet Explorer Window

To resize the Internet Explorer window, move the mouse pointer to the lower-right corner of the Internet Explorer window, and then drag the window until it is the size you want.

Once the Internet Explorer window is the size you want, quit and restart Internet Explorer.
