PPT97: Changes to Master Title Object Not Retained If Deleted (164264)

If you change the fill color of the Title placeholder in slide master view,
and then delete that placeholder, the fill color of the Title placeholder
does not change. In contrast, if you change both the fill color and the
line style of the Title placeholder and then delete that placeholder, both
the fill color and the line style of the Title placeholder change to the
new colors.
This functionality is different from PowerPoint for Windows 95, version
7.0.
CAUSE
PowerPoint 97 uses a different drawing/graphics engine than PowerPoint 7.0.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft PowerPoint 97.
