TMGR: Unexpected Errors Saving To a Write-Protected Disk (163821)

SYMPTOMS

When saving a file to a write protected disk, Team Manager may perform unexpectedly.

RESOLUTION

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the version of Microsoft Team Manager listed above. We are researching this problem and will post new information here as it becomes available.

MORE INFORMATION

For example, if a file is saved to a floppy disc, attempting to resave the file to a write-protected disc may cause Team Manager to either quit unexpectedly or the following error message may appear:
Disk Write Error.
Unable to write to disk in drive A:
Data or files may be lost.
Press any key to continue.
If this message occurs, you can either replace the current disc with a write-enabled disc, or disable the write protection on the current disc.
