This article was previously published under Q163759 SYMPTOMS
When attempting to download images from your camera directly in Microsoft
Picture It! you receive the following message:
"No Digital Camera Was Found. You must install a digital camera and
it's software before you can do this task".
CAUSE
The Casio QV-family of digital cameras use software called QV Link or QV
PC, depending on the model. This software does not by itself support
TWAIN. Microsoft Picture It! requires TWAIN in order to download images
from digital cameras. Consequently you are not be able to access the
camera directly from within Picture It! without the CASIO TWAIN driver.
RESOLUTION
Casio digital cameras come with TWAIN drivers, usually on a separate disk
labeled "TWAIN Modulator".
To install the Casio TWAIN driver, do the following:
- Run the Setup.exe program on the TWAIN disk.
Double-click the TWAIN folder on the disk.
- Install or reinstall Picture It!
