you quit Internet Explorer. The next time you start Internet Explorer, the
cached addresses are no longer available.
MORE INFORMATION
Internet Explorer for Macintosh clears cached Address box entries each
time you quit Internet Explorer. However, the contents of the History.htm
file located in the System Folder:Preferences:Explorer folder are not
cleared when you quit Internet Explorer. To access the contents of the
History.htm file, click Open History on the Go menu in Internet Explorer.
To modify the number of Internet addresses that are stored in the
History.htm file, click Preferences on the Edit menu, click the Advanced
tab, modify the value under History, and then click OK.
