TMGR: Installing Team Manager Changes the Arial Font (161998)

SYMPTOMS

Programs that use the Arial font may show as Arial italic during Team Manager Setup and may remain Arial italic if Setup does not complete successfully.

CAUSE

Team Manager Setup changes the default Arial font from regular to italic during the installation.

RESOLUTION

The Arial font will be returned to normal at the end of Setup. If for some reason Setup is not successful, you must run Setup again and it must successfully complete for the font to return to normal.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Team Manager 97. We are researching this problem and will post new information here as it becomes available.
