SYMPTOMS

When you view a Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) document using Internet Explorer, objects that are gray in color may be displayed as light green.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if the HTML source code has the color set to gray for the following elements:
   <BODY>
   <FONT>
   <HR>
   <MARQUEE>
   <TABLE>

Internet Explorer incorrectly reads "grey" as "green."

RESOLUTION

The author of the page you are viewing must change the spelling of the element color in the source code from "grey" to "gray."
