TMGR: Microsoft Team Manager Updates Regardless of Resource (161653)

Microsoft Team Manager will accept updates from anyone who has a resource's
Personal Task List.
Microsoft Team Manager does not base the resource name on the e-mail
address for updates from the team member task file, Mtmtask.mtt. If the
team member task file is moved from one individual to another, any new
updates will be shown coming from the second individual, but Microsoft
Team Manager will still show the original resource's name that was
assigned to the task.

This behavior is by design.
MORE INFORMATION
Microsoft Team Manager will allow updates sent from any e-mail address, but
Team Manager will base the information on the resource's name contained in
the Mtmtask.mtt file. The logic behind this is that it would allow for name
or e-mail name changes, due to marriage or other reasons.
