Microsoft Excel 4.0 Documents Are Not Properly Filtered (161560)

SYMPTOMS

Microsoft Index Server will not filter Microsoft Excel version 4.0 documents. The Excel 4.0 documents must first be converted to Excel 5.0 or later documents before being filtered by Microsoft Index Server.

CAUSE

Excel 4.0 document filtering is not supported.
