TMGR: Print Preview Vertical Scroll Bar Disappears (161318)

SYMPTOMS

When in print preview, when you zoom in and zoom out, the vertical scroll bar disappears.

CAUSE

The print preview vertical scroll bar may disappear under the following conditions:

  • You are print previewing a view such as the Task Organizer.
  • You zoom in and zoom back out to the original non-zoomed mode.

WORKAROUND

When in a completely zoomed out mode, the vertical scroll bars enable you to scroll through the pages of multi-page printout. If your vertical scroll bar disappears, you can use your the PAGE UP and PAGE DOWN keys to accomplish the same thing. You can also exit print preview and restart print preview.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
