This article was previously published under Q161317 SYMPTOMS
You drag a task in the Work Calendar view, and when you view the task in a
view such as the Task Organizer, it appears with as an overloaded task.
CAUSE
If you are in the Work Calendar view and the view is formatted for a weekly
view, dragging a task to another week applies a Start Exactly on constraint
to the task. The constraint is always the first date in the period, which
happens to be Sunday. Sunday is typically a non-working day.
RESOLUTION
Change the constraint on the task to a working day. To do this, click Task
Properties on the Edit menu, click the Scheduling tab, and change the
Exactly On constraint to a working day.
