SUMMARY

The FrontPage Internet Database Connector Wizard allows you to create an Internet Database Connector (IDC) file even if you are not using a server that supports this technology. Although the file is created correctly, it may not function on some Web servers.

To use IDC files correctly, you need to publish them to one of the following Web servers that support the IDC standard:

  • Microsoft Internet Information Server
  • Microsoft Peer Web Services for Windows NT 4.0
  • Microsoft Personal Web Server for Windows 95
