This article was previously published under Q160711

SUMMARY

If you create a Web publication that uses the Bold1, Bold2, or Bold3 background scheme, the text color for followed hyperlinks is the same color as the purple bar that runs down the left side of the page. This means that when you publish your page to the Web, any hyperlinked text that intersects the purple bar seems to disappear after you have visited that hyperlink.

MORE INFORMATION

If you use this background scheme, you should make sure that you don't have any hyperlinked text in the purple bar region.

If you want to have hyperlinked text in the purple bar region, you should change the followed hyperlink text color before you publish your Web page.
  1. On the Format menu, click Background and Text Colors.
  2. Click the Custom tab.
  3. Click a different color on the Followed Hyperlink list.
