The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft FrontPage 97 for Windows with Bonus Pack
This article was previously published under Q160231 SYMPTOMS
When you open a FrontPage web while you are viewing the Details dialog
box for a To Do List entry from a previously open Web, you may receive
an invalid page fault error or an illegal operation error, such as the
following:
FPEXPLOR caused an invalid page fault in module MFC40.DLL at
0137:5f82bb0e.
-and-
FPEXPLOR caused an invalid page fault in module FP20WEC.DLL at
0137:67ddc894.
Note that the exact addresses of these errors may vary.
CAUSE
The Details dialog box of the To Do List is designed to be displayed
only for the currently open FrontPage Web. It is not designed to be
updated automatically when the Web it refers to is closed.
Note that if you create a new FrontPage Web while the To Do List is
open, the To Do List will be closed automatically and you may receive an
"Error getting To Do List" error message in the new Web.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, restart FrontPage and continue your work.
To avoid this problem, close the details dialog box of any task in the
To Do List before you open another FrontPage Web.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed
at the beginning of this article. This problem was corrected in Microsoft
FrontPage 98 for Windows.
