OFF97: Binder Stops Responding Using Binder Page Setup Dialog (159818)

When using Microsoft Office Binder 97, you may receive the following error
message
BINDER caused an invalid page fault in module BINDER.EXE at
014f:3003628e.
and Microsoft Office Binder 97 stops responding (crashes).
CAUSE
This problem will occur if all of the following conditions are true:
- In Microsoft Office Binder 97, you click Binder Page Setup on the
File menu.
-and-
- When you first look at the Header or Footer list box in the
Header/Footer tab, the box appears completely empty. It does not
even contain the word "[None]".
-and-
- You click the Header or Footer list box, point at (but do not click)
one or more items in the list, and then click somewhere else in the
dialog box without clicking the list again.
RESOLUTION
To prevent this problem from occurring, make sure that if you click the
Header or Footer list box, you click an item in the list before clicking
anywhere else.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products
listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem
and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it
becomes available.
