Neverhood: Can't Run AfterDark 3.0 and The Neverhood (158967)

SYMPTOMS

You experience sudden termination of The Neverhood. This occurs if you are using AfterDark 3.0 while the program is running and your computer is idle long enough for the screen saver to activate.

When the screen saver starts, the program closes. You are returned to the Windows desktop without an option to save your game.

RESOLUTION

Turn off any screen savers before starting The Neverhood.

The following is the exact text as printed in the readme.txt file for The Neverhood:

   "Me know what to do."
   Please close all programs, turn off screen savers, etc. before
   loading the disc.

   Screen savers including After Dark can end the game if not closed
   before game play. (Of course, Willie asked you to turn this off
   earlier.)
