Neverhood: System Agent Starts Scandisk During Game (158965)

During some animation sequences in The Neverhood, especially the longer
animations, the System Agent included with Microsoft Plus! may detect
the computer is idle and start Scandisk.
For example, this may occur with animations such as the weasel chase scene,
the burp at the mushroom, and the pull pin. When Scandisk starts, it
minimizes The Neverhood and interrupts game play.
RESOLUTION
Press the CTRL+ALT+DEL key combination to activate the Close Program
window and close The Neverhood and System Agent before beginning a new
game.
The readme.txt file for The Neverhood suggests that you turn off all
background applications before beginning a game. This includes System
Agent.
MORE INFORMATION
Although it is annoying when Scandisk starts during a game, it does not
corrupt the game, corrupt any files, or cause information to be lost.
