Subfolders of Favorites Folder Not Displayed on Favorites Menu (158624)

SYMPTOMS

When you save your favorite Internet sites to a folder under the Windows\Favorites folder, the URL shortcuts do not appear in the Favorites menu MRU (most recently used) list.

CAUSE

Unlike Microsoft Internet Explorer, Pocket Internet Explorer does not support cascading menus within the Favorites menu.

RESOLUTION

This behavior is by design.

You can access favorite sites stored in other folders by following these steps:

  1. On the Favorites menu, tap Open Favorites Folder.
  2. Double-tap the folder containing the site you want.
