MORE INFORMATION

If you are using an Alliance Promotion video card with older video drivers, the "SetDisplayMode Error: DDERR_GENERIC" error message may be followed by the following error message:
Unable to use Direct Draw
If this happens, change your video settings, but don't restart your computer when you are prompted. This allows you to run The Neverhood. However, you need to obtain Direct Draw compatible video drivers from the manufacturer of your video card.
