DreamWorks Err: DDERR_GENERIC Error During Setup in 800x600 (158534)

When you try to run Setup for, or play, one of the programs listed at the
top of this article, one of the following may occur:
These problems occur if your video settings are set to 32-bit High Color or
your screen resolution is set to 800X600.
RESOLUTION
Change the color palette to 256 colors.
To change your display settings, do the following:
- Click the Start button, point to Settings, and then click Control
Panel.
- Double-click Display.
- Click the Settings tab.
- In the Color Palette box, select 256 colors.
- Click OK. If you are prompted to restart your computer, click Yes.
NOTE: Changing the color depth to 256 colors should resolve the problem.
If it does not, you may need to change your video resolution to 640x480.
