GEX Setup Repeatedly Installs DirectX Drivers (158107)

SYMPTOMS

When you install GEX, DirectX Setup may repeatedly install DirectX drivers.

RESOLUTION

If DirectX Setup repeatedly installs DirectX drivers, restart the computer and reinstall GEX. During the reinstallation, DirectX 2.0 Setup may attempt to install the DirectX drivers again. If this occurs, click Cancel in the Version Checking dialog box. When the Abort dialog box appears, click No to abort the installation. GEX should then run normally.
