WD97: Conversion Wizard Restarts After Clicking Close (157198)

SYMPTOMS

When you run the Conversion Wizard and click the Close button (the button resembling an X, located in the top-right corner of the title bar) on any panel except the first one, the following message appears:
The batch conversion is complete.
Would you like to confirm another conversion?
If you click the Close button in this dialog box, the Conversion Wizard restarts.

WORKAROUND

To quit the Conversion Wizard, click the Cancel button.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Word 97 for Windows.
