To create a new chat room in Comic Chat, use either of the following methods:

Method 1

  1. Start Comic Chat, and then click New Connection on the File menu.
  2. In the Go To Chat Room box, type the name for the new chat room. Note the following criteria for chat room names:
    • Must begin with a number sign (#)
    • Must be a unique name not currently in use
    • Cannot exceed 20 characters in length (including "#")
    • Must contain contiguous characters--no spaces
    • Cannot contain any invalid characters
  3. Click OK.

Method 2

  1. On the Session menu, click New Room.
  2. In the Chat Room box, type the name for the new chat room. Note the following criteria for chat room names:
    • Must begin with a number sign (#)

    • Must contain contiguous characters--no spaces
