TMGR: Current Folder Changes When You Link Objects (154772)

The current folder (directory) is changed after you insert an OLE object
that exists in a folder different from the current team file.
WORKAROUND
When you manipulate files, change the folder to the appropriate one.
MORE INFORMATION
After you insert an OLE object, the active folder may be different from
the current team file if the new team file is based on a file in an
alternate folder from where the current team file is located. The
likelihood of a team manager starting a new team file while in this
situation is minimal.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the products listed at the
beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post
new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes
available.
