Text Surrounding "@" Character Is Considered an E-mail Address (154345)

When you view a message in Internet Mail or Internet News, if there is an
"@" character in the text it is considered an e-mail address.
CAUSE
Whenever Internet Mail or Internet News detects an "@" character, it
considers the text surrounding the character to be an e-mail address and
treats it as such.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Internet Mail and
News version 1.0. We are researching this problem and will post new
information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
