TMGR: ENTER Key in Personal Task List Doesn't Select Cell Down (149871)

The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Team Manager

This article was previously published under Q149871

SUMMARY

In Microsoft Team Manager for team members, if you press the ENTER key without editing the data in a cell, the active cell remains active. If you edit the cell before pressing the ENTER key, then pressing the ENTER key causes the next cell down to become active, assuming the cell you edited is not already in the last row.

MORE INFORMATION

This is different from the behavior in Microsoft Team Manager tables, where pressing the ENTER key always makes the next cell down active, regardless of whether the original cell was edited first or not.

NOTE: The ARROW keys in Team Manager for team members work as expected and can be used to move between cells.
