TMGR: && in Filter Name Makes Shortcut Key for Next Letter (148697)

This article was previously published under Q148697 SYMPTOMS
When you create a filter in Microsoft Team Manager, if you use a single
ampersand (&) in the filter name, an accelerator key (or shortcut key) is
created for that filter. If you use double ampersands (&&), the first
ampersand creates a shortcut key in the filter name, and the second
ampersand appears as an ampersand. The expected behavior is for only the
ampersand to appear.
MORE INFORMATION
A shortcut key is a set of keystrokes that you can use instead of the
mouse pointer to access a menu item. To create a shortcut key, you would
use one ampersand in a filter name. If, however, you wanted the ampersand
to appear as an ampersand in the filter name rather than to create a
shortcut key, you would use two ampersands. When you use this technique in
Team Manager, however, the ampersand appears in the name of the filter and
also appears as an accelerator key.
