IMPORTANT: This article contains information about editing the registry.
Before you edit the registry, you should first make a backup copy of the
registry files (System.dat and User.dat). Both are hidden files in the
Windows folder.
SYMPTOMS
When you customize Word's grammar settings, a Gram32.ini file is created on
the desktop of the two platforms listed above.
NOTE: Word for Windows 95 running on Windows NT, version 3.51 will create
the Gram32.ini file in the \Winword folder.
WORKAROUND
The Gram32.ini can be moved to the Word for Windows program folder (for
example, \Msoffice\Winword). This will allow the settings to be retained
and modified without re-creating a .ini file on the desktop.
