When you are selecting cells in an embedded spreadsheet or table in a Word Processing document, the cells will not scroll as you reach the edge of the document. This occurs if the borders of the spreadsheet or table are off the screen; the document will only scroll in the direction of the visible borders of the spreadsheet or table.
RESOLUTION
To select multiple cells in a table or spreadsheet, do either of the
following:
Reduce the Zoom level so you can see the entire range to be selected. For
example, set the Zoom level to 75%.

- Click on the first cell you want to select.
- Using the scroll bar at the bottom of the document window, scroll to
the area you want included in the selected range.
- Hold down the SHIFT key and click on the last cell you want
selected.
