SYMPTOMS

If you choose the topic called What's New in the PowerPoint Help index, Help incorrectly displays What's New in Word 95 instead of What's New in PowerPoint 95.

CAUSE

This index entry points to the file Wdvisex.exe, which is the Word for Windows 95 What's New Help file.

RESOLUTION

To see the What's New in PowerPoint 95 Help topic instead of the What's New in Word 95 topic, do the following:
  1. On the Help menu, click Answer Wizard.
  2. Type the following in the Type Your Request box, and then click Search:

    what's new

  3. Click the topic called

    What's new in PowerPoint 95

    and click Display.
