SUMMARY

By default in Microsoft Money you enter transactions into the register by using the transaction forms. You must turn off the transaction forms to edit the information directly in the register.

In Money 99 and Money 98, transaction forms may not allow you to access some fields.

For example, the tab for cash machine transactions has no number field. To enter the information, turn off the transaction forms and then enter or edit the transaction in the register.

MORE INFORMATION

To turn off the transaction forms, follow these steps:
  1. In the Account Register, click the arrow next to View.
  2. Click Enter Transactions Directly into the Register, or click Transaction Forms in Money 97 and Money 98.
Now you can make changes to the entry in the register.
