Publisher Help Pane Undocks While Dialog Box Is Showing (137466)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Publisher for Windows 3.0
This article was previously published under Q137466 SUMMARY
If you display Publisher's Help screen while another dialog or message box
is on-screen, the Help screen appears in a floating window. When you close
the other dialog or message box, the Help screen returns (or "docks") to
its permanent location at the right side of the Publisher workspace.
MORE INFORMATION
Normally, the Publisher Help screen is in a fixed location and can't
be moved. However, most message and dialog boxes have Help topics
available for them that you can access by pressing the F1 key. Because
many of the dialog boxes can cover the Help screen's normal location,
the Help screen floats while a dialog box is open so you can move it
to where you can read it.
