If you save a Microsoft Word document in Rich Text Format and open that
.rtf file in Publisher, double underlining in tables may appear to be missing.
CAUSE
The double underlining is not really missing; it is being cropped out by
the cell margin. It may reappear if you view your publication at 150 or 200
percent zoom.
RESOLUTION
You can either stretch the table manually or adjust the cell margins to
make the double underlining reappear.
To adjust the cell margins:
- Click anywhere in the table to select it.
- Click the button in the upper-left corner of the table to select
all the cells.
- On the Format menu, click Table Cell Properties.
- Change the bottom margin to something larger than 0. Click OK.
STATUS
Microsoft is researching this problem and will post new information
here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
