1. Q. When I click Page Setup on the File menu, the Fit To Page option is unavailable. How can I make this option available?
   
   A. The Fit To Page option is available only when you print to a PostScript printer such as the Apple LaserWriter.
   
   To select a LaserWriter printer that is already installed, follow these steps:
   
   
   1. On the Apple menu, click Chooser.
   2. Click the icon for the LaserWriter driver you want to use.
   3. In the list of available printers, click the name of the LaserWriter you want to use.
   4. Close the Chooser.
   The Fit To Page option is now available in the Page Setup dialog box in Microsoft Project.

2. Q. Can I control where page breaks occur in my project in Microsoft Project version 4.0?
   
   A. Yes. You can set page breaks on the Gantt Chart, Task Sheet, Resource Sheet, and Resource Usage views. On the PERT Chart view, you can display page breaks and adjust nodes so that they are not split across pages.
   
   When you set a page break in a table view, the break is inserted above the selected row. The row that you select must contain task or resource information.
   
   To set a page break on the Gantt Chart, Task Sheet, Resource Sheet, or Resource Usage view, follow these steps:
   
   
   1. Select the row that you want the page break to come before.
   2. On the Insert menu, click Page Break. A dashed line will appear on the table portion of the view, indicating that a page break has been set.
      
      To remove a page break, select the row just below the dashed line, and click Remove Page Break on the Insert menu.
   On the PERT Chart, page breaks are determined by the size of the paper you set in the Print Setup dialog box. You can adjust the amount of space available for printing by increasing or decreasing the margins. To adjust the margins, follow these steps:
   
   
   1. On the File menu, click Page Setup.
   2. Click the Margins tab.
   3. Enter the new margin values in the Top, Bottom, Left, and Right boxes and click OK.
   If you want Microsoft Project to automatically adjust the nodes on the PERT Chart so that nodes are not split across pages, follow these steps:
   1. On the Format menu, click Layout.

3. Q. I have formatted my Gantt bars so that text is printed to the left of the bar on the Gantt Chart. Now when I print the Gantt Chart, the text is cut off on the left side of my printout. How can I get all of the text to be printed?
   
   A. When you print the Gantt Chart in Microsoft Project, the chart is printed from the beginning of the project. This date is specified in the From box in the Print dialog box. Text to the left of a Gantt bar isn't printed if the start of the bar fits exactly on the page. To print all of the text on the Gantt Chart when you have text to the left of your Gantt bars, you must set the project to print from a date that is earlier than the project start date. To do this, follow these steps:
   1. On the File menu, click Print.
   2. Under Timescale, click Manual.
   3. In the From box, type a date that is earlier than the project start date.
