The Windows NT 3.51 Workstation and Server U.S. Service Pack 5 is a cumulative build of all fixes to Windows NT Workstation and Windows NT Server version 3.51.

AVAILABLE FORMATS FOR WINDOWS NT 3.51 SERVICE PACK 5

Service Pack 5 is available as a single self-extracting archive file for Intel (x86), MIPS, ALPHA, and Power PC-based computers. The file is downloadable from Microsoft's FTP server

A 3.5-inch floppy disk upgrade set for x86-based computers is also available and can be ordered from the Microsoft Sales Information Center.

INSTALLING WINDOWS NT 3.51 SERVICE PACK 5

Copy the self-extracting file to a directory on your hard drive and type the name of the self-extracting file with a "-d" switch after it. For example, to decompress the file, SP5_351I.EXE, enter the following command:

   SP5_351I.EXE -d
		

After the service pack has been decompressed, run the UPDATE.EXE program to install the updated files.
