WD6X: Printing Multiple Copies of Envelopes Doesn't Work (127784)

In Word 6.0 for the Macintosh, printing multiple copies of envelopes may
not work as expected. The first envelope will be printed correctly, but
subsequent envelopes will print with the wrong orientation.
This problem occurs when you print to envelopes by choosing Envelopes And
Labels on the Tools menu.
RESOLUTION
To resolve the problem, upgrade to Word 6.0.1. To obtain Word 6.0.1, call
the Microsoft Order Desk at (800) 360-7561. If you are outside the United

To work around the problem in Word version 6.0, use the following method:
- From the Tools menu, choose Envelopes And Labels.
- Type return and destination addresses.
- Choose the Add To Document button.
- From the File menu, choose Print.
- Specify the number of copies.
- Choose the Range button. Type a 0 (zero) in the Pages box. Choose OK.
- Choose the Word Options button.
- Under Printing Options, select the Reverse Print Order check box. Choose
OK.
- Under Paper Source, select Manual Feed (or MP Tray) depending on how you
are feeding the envelopes. Choose Print.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Word version 6.0 for the
Macintosh. This problem was corrected in Word version 6.0.1 for the
Macintosh.
