SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Project, when you use a Visual Basic, Applications Edition procedure that contains the Shift property, you may receive a general protection (GP) fault.

NOTE: If you are using Microsoft Project for the Macintosh, your machine may hang, and you will need to reboot.

CAUSE

The Shift or Working property, used in conjunction with the Day, Month, Period, Weekday, or Year objects, causes a GP fault when it reads from or writes to a resource calendar.

NOTE: The Shift property has three variations: Shift1, Shift2, and Shift3.

STATUS

This problem has been resolved in Microsoft Project for Windows 95.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
