ACC2: User() Function Not Supported in MS Access Version 2.0 (119994)

SYMPTOMS
Both the Microsoft Access version 2.0 "Language Reference" manual and the
online Help system state the following:
Microsoft Access version 2.0 supports the User function for backward
compatibility. However, it is recommended that you use the CurrentUser
function.
This information is incorrect.
RESOLUTION
The User() function is not supported in Microsoft Access version 2.0. If
you compile a module containing the User() function, you will receive the
following error message:
Expected: expression
Use the CurrentUser() function in Microsoft Access version 2.0 instead of
the User() function.
