WD6X: Clicking Text Box Doesn't Activate Custom Mark (Footnote) (119300)

When you click Footnote on the Insert menu, clicking in the Custom Mark
text box does not activate the option.
RESOLUTION
Click the Custom Mark option button. The insertion point will
automatically position itself in the text box.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Word version 6.0 for the
Macintosh. We are researching this problem and will post new information
here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
