Error 1312 After Running Net Use Command from Batch File (114624)

Error 1312 appears with the following text:
A specified logon session does not exist. It may already
have been terminated.
This error occurs when a scheduled batch file runs a command similar to the following:
net use x: \\server\share /user:username password
This problem only occurs when you are trying to connect to an OS/2 server
running Microsoft LAN Manager.
This problem does not occur if you manually type the previous command from
Command Prompt or if the command in the batch file does not contain the
user and password information.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT version 3.1. We
are researching this problem and will post new information here in the
Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
