SYMPTOMS
When you log on a second time after you restart a Windows NT print server
and then start a Windows-based application with the remote printer set as
the default printer, this STOP message appears:
STOP: 0xc000021a
The Windows Subsystem system process terminated unexpectedly with a
status of 0xc0000006
This problem occurs on a Windows NT print server that has a remote printer
connection to its own local printer. For example:
\\MYPRINTSERVER
has a local printer shared as
\\MYPRINTSERVER\PRINTER1
and also has a network connection to
\\MYPRINTSERVER\PRINTER1.
This can be a problem with mandatory profiles that contain the remote
printer connection. When you log on to the print server using the mandatory profile, you get a remote printer connection (by means of the profile) to the locally connected printer. Windows NT clients (where the remote printer connection is the only printer) work correctly.
