Works: Printing Envelopes on the Canon Bubblejet Printers (111295)

Envelopes may print in the wrong orientation (that is, landscape instead of
portrait) on the Canon BJ-100, BJ-200, BJ-300, BJC-600 and BJC-4000
printers.
In addition, the Paper Source, Paper Size, and orientation may change after
the document is saved, closed, and reopened.
RESOLUTION
You can correct the problem by using either of the solutions described
below.
SOLUTION 1
Install and use the IBM Proprinter X24e printer driver to print
envelopes.
SOLUTION 2
Add an [Envelope] section to the MSWORKS3.INI (located in your Windows
directory) file using the following steps:
- Exit Works for Windows 3.0.
- In Program Manager, choose Run from the File menu.
- In the Command Line box, type the following and choose OK
- Add the following section to the MSWORKS3.INI file:
[Envelope]
Options=1
LPT1=16
NOTE: Be sure to include a blank line above and below this section to
separate it from the other sections in the file.
- From the File menu, choose Save.
- From the File menu, choose Exit.
- Open Works for Windows 3.0 and either create or open an envelope
Word Processor document.
- From the File menu, choose Page Setup.
- Select the Source, Size, and Orientation tab.
- In the Paper Source box, select Auto Sheet Feeder and choose OK.

Insert envelopes into the Canon BJ-200 or BJ-300 with the top edge of the
envelope feeding into the printer with the flap on the underside.
