Auto Converting Works 2.0 Label Documents in Works 3.0 (111044)
The information in this article applies to:
This article was previously published under Q111044 SUMMARY
Works 3.0 automatically prompts you to convert a Works 2.0 label
document to Works 3.0 format when the Print command is chosen and
Preview is selected. If you automatically convert a Works 2.0 label
document, Works does not use one of the formatted sizes from the
Envelope/Label dialog box, even if there is one that matches. Works 3.0
creates a custom label size. If the label was originally a laser label,
there should be no problem regardless of the size Works 3.0 selects. If the
label was originally a dot-matrix label with a user-defined size and 0
margins, Works 3.0 may indicate the wrong number of labels down the page.
After converting the document, you need to make sure all settings are
correct and save the changes when closing the file or exiting Works for
Windows.
