When you use the Function Wizard in Microsoft Excel, you cannot
automatically enter a function as an array.
WORKAROUND
To enter an array formula when you are using the Function Wizard, do the
following:
- Select the range on your worksheet where the array formula is to be
entered.
- Use the Function Wizard to enter your formula. When your formula is
complete, choose the Finish button.
Your formula will now occupy a single cell (usually the upper-left
cell) in the range.
- In Microsoft Excel for Windows, press F2 and then press
CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER.
In Microsoft Excel for the Macintosh, press COMMAND+U, and then press
COMMAND+RETURN.
Your formula should now be entered as an array.
