By design, Works for Windows is limited to Bold, Italic, Underline, and Strikethrough font styles, even if the font may offer other options.
Other programs, such as Windows Write, allow you to select the font style based on the font you are using. For example, the Lucida font has a Demibold font style that you can select in Windows Write, but not in Works for Windows.
