DESCRIPTION: |
This SoftPaq creates files that contain a binary image for the System ROM forthe notebook models listed below with a 68BASFamily ROM. This SoftPaq is used toflash the System ROM on target PCs on a network, and it requires SystemSoftware Manager (SSM) or Remote Management Setup. The ROM Family and ROM datecan be determined by running the Setup Utility by pressing F10 on the targetcomputer during system power on of the computer, and viewing File/SystemInformation. |

HOW TO USE: |
1. Download the SoftPaq to a temporary, empty directory on your hard drive. The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above. 2. The BIOS/ROM image file must be used with Remote Management Software in order to actually flash (upgrade) the ROM image on one of the affected Evo notebooks. 3. When used with SSM, copy the SoftPaq to the file store. 4. When used with WINFLASH, run the SoftPaq to get the .cab file.
