HOW TO USE: |
1. Download the SoftPaq to a temporary, empty directory on your hard drive. The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above. 2. The BIOS/ROM image file must be used with Remote Management Software in order to actually flash (upgrade) the ROM image on one of the affected Presario/Evo notebooks. 3. When used with SSM, copy the SoftPaq to the file store. 4. When used with WINFLASH, run the SoftPaq to get the .cab file. IMPORTANT: DO NOT TURN OFF POWER TO THE COMPUTER WHILE PERFORMING THIS PROCEDURE! Copyright (c) 2003 Hewlett-Packard Development Company, L.P. |
