PREREQUISITES:

HOW TO USE:
1. Download the SoftPaq to a temporary, empty directory on your hard drive.
The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the
SoftPaq Number above.

2. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file
and follow the on-screen instructions.

3. After the diskette has been created, you may delete the
SoftPaq file downloaded in step 2.

4. Turn off the computer.

5. Place the newly created Compaq Presario 900xx/Evo 1005v,N1015v ROMPaq Diskette in Drive A:
and turn on the computer.

Note: For users that do NOT have a floppy drive build-in, please use USB floppy to perform new firmware update.
To enable USB floppy boot, please follow below instructions
- Turn on the system and press F.10 to get to F.10 setup
- In the advance section->select USB BIOS Lagacy support and Enable it.
- Save F10 and exit.
- System is now booting from USP floppy.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT TURN OFF POWER TO THE COMPUTER WHILE PERFORMING THIS PROCEDURE!
